Moisture Testing – Protecting Your Investment
One of the most important stages of any flooring installation is ensuring the subfloor is suitable to receive the chosen floor finish.
In accordance with BS 8203 and BS 5325, we carry out professional moisture testing to measure the Relative Humidity (RH) within the subfloor.
If moisture levels exceed the recommended 75% RH, installing floor coverings prematurely can lead to adhesive failure, blistering, debonding, mould growth and costly remedial works.
By identifying excessive moisture before installation, we can recommend the appropriate damp proof membrane or moisture suppression system, protecting both your flooring investment and project programme.
